honestly, the whole thing about jotting down your task before picking a tool is way more valuable than people give it credit for most folks grab a tool first and then try to squeeze their problem into it, which ends up eating up way more time than it should. getting clear on what you actually need to accept as done from the jump is the step i constantly blow past and then kick myself for later — like, knowing straight up that the cup rim's gotta stay the same size is a totally different project than just saying make it feel fancy
